The UK Chancellor Alistair Darling makes his first full Budget on Wednesday 12 March.  SPF will provide a breakdown of key points as soon as possible after the Chancellor 'sits down' at around 1.30-2PM.  By custom we must await the Chancellor resuming his seat before the Treasury Budget websites go live.

Ahead of the budget and in support of on-going dialogue with the Treasury and HMRC in a number of areas including SDLT, VAT, capital allowances and land remediation the BPF has published a letter outlining its key concerns with the government on taxation and investment matters.  The full letter is available here.
