SPF has welcomed the decision of Edinburgh Planning Committee to consider build today pay tomorrow measures as part of its Economic Resilience Action Plan.  The move follows approaches by SPF Chairman Ken Ross on phasing any necessary development contributions at a high level meeting with council leaders in January.  SPF is lobbying other local authorities to review or re-schedule developer contributions in the light of current economic circumstances.  See here for SPF comment on the Edinburgh Council decision.
