Industry debates 'Selling sustainability' PDF Print E-mail

Today 13 May 2008 the Scottish commercial property industry meets at the Balmoral Hotel in Edinburgh to debate the business case for sustainable development in Scotland.

 

Over 180 delegates from both business and the public sector will consider the challenges of meeting Scotland's climate change targets and at the same time achieving sustainable economic growth.  Speakers include Patrick Harvie MSP, convener of the Scottish Parliament''s climate change committee; Linda Sherdan from the Scottish Government's Built Environment directorate; Lynne Sullivan, chair of the independent expert panel establsihed last year by the Scottish Government; Chris Hiatt of Jones Lang la Salle; Frank Sangster of KPMG; Nigel Ellis for Scottish & Southern and Ranald Boydell for the Kilmartin property group.  BBC Scotland's Louise Batchelor facilitates the event.
