John Swinney, Scottish Government Cabinet Secretary for Finance and Sustainable Growth, is to address the Scottish commercial property industry at its annual conference on Tuesday 24th February 2009 at Our Dynamic Earth, Edinburgh.

The conference comes at a critical time for the commercial property industry which first saw the pinch of the credit crunch in late 2007.  From being one of Scotland's best performing sectors the property industry is now among the leading victims of the economic downturn.  The conference examines the relationship between property, politics and the wider economy and the prospects for the property industry.
