New research published on 7 November 2007 demonstrates in detail the value of the Scottish commercial property industry to the Scottish economy. The research, commissioned by the Scottish Property Federation from GVA Grimley, finds that the total 'gross value added' is in excess of £7.34bn per annum, representing some 8.5% of total Scottish GVA. These figures are based on end 2005 and improve upon earlier estimates provided by SPF in February 2007.
