National Planning Framework 2 PDF Print E-mail

The first National Planning Framework for Scotland was published in 2003.  The recent planning act (2006) now places the NPF on a statutory footing and the second NPF has now been published for consultation.  The intention of the NPF is to set a strategic vision for planning going forward 20 years.  It highlights 9 key infrastructure projects seen as vital to sustainable economic growth.

The SPF is keen to hear the views of its membership on the draft NPF 2.  Responses to the Government are requested by 23 April 2008 and a link to the consultation document may be found on the SPF consultation register site.  Comments on the NPF2 should be sent to David Melhuish.
